Yesterday I launched a new website olivermunnik.co.za that is replacing this platform. Change is the spice of life, and now is the perfect time to perform a spring clean.
A big thanks to
Kev Kolesky for making it happen

Having watched “Ride Everything” a while ago, here are another two classy efforts from the guys at Morevelo.

Local pinner, Gary Barnard, makes his 2nd front page appearance on the cult Mountain Biking website VitalMTB. He has redeemed himself 2nd round time with the awesome shot (rhs) from last weekend’s Tokai Monster Madness. On the left, after what must have been another killer Trans-Provence stage, Gary is having words or tears, with his maker!
Either way, after more than 20 years of keeping it pinned, Gary still rides his bike like a boss.

A little reminder of the scramble up Gamtoos Pass with my partner Michael Creedon at this year’s Wines2Whales. Blows your mind to think the Voortrekkers pulled and pushed ox wagons, laden with biltong and brandy, up and over this ascent!

I’M IN … click on the invite to get details of Red Bull FLUGTAG happening in Cape Town on the 9th Of December at the V&A Waterfront
“Red Bull Flugtag challenges teams of everyday people to build homemade, human powered flying machines and pilot them off a 6m high ramp in the hopes of achieving flight! Flugtag may mean “flying day” in German, but all these crafts ultimately splash into the waters below. They are judged not only on their flight’s distance, but creativity as well.”
